I can't wait! I'll be reunited with my wife & kids, get in touch with old friends, and do something I always wanted to try: cutting my lawn by hand with a pair of scissors!!

This coincides nicely with my vacation when I will be hled up away from the
net. Considerate planning, JB! I'll be nowhere near the net and therefoe
unable to miss this place!

Seriously, though, good luck with the move!

Mr. Benson raises a question. Will the board, itself, change? Will all threads be gone? Or is just the lobby getting a makeover?

After JB's move, the new JBF will be jumped "One Year Later." JB might now be played by Frank Miller. His new occupation might be as an oral surgeon. In the months to come, there will be a spinoff, "JBF:52," which will tell us all about what happened in between.

The last time we moved (October, 2001) it occured to me that there are people in the world who make their living by moving people from one place to another and how incredibly selfish it was of me to deprive them of their livelihood by renting a U-Haul and doing it myself.

Of course, this brilliant observation didn't occur to me until AFTER I had hauled 25 long boxes full of comics up a flight of stairs (man, them suckers are HEAVY)!

Hope you've got good movers, JB!

The POD has now been transported to CasaBlanca, and tomorrow at the crack of peep the movers invade Stately Byrne Manor.   This means I will be dismantling the computer sometime in the AM tomorrow, and may or may not have time for a last couple of posts before the move. Friday should be my first night in the new house. Wonder if I will remember how to put the bed back together?

I say the same thing to my dog, only it's in my bed!
