Congratulations! Guess it's all over but... well, okay, it's not over, but the initial phases look very good.

Also, I guess I have a hard time picturing JB retiring. Maybe a reduced workload--two books a month-- but not actually walking from the drawing board... hm.

My neighbors have decided they do want to buy Stately Byrne Manor. Yay!
Wow!  Congrats, Chief!  Did you even have to bother listing SBM?

Great news.  What do your neighbors plan to do with the house?

None! The house has a fully developed basement, covering the entire footprint, and about a third of that is an ideal studio space, with large windows, lots of lights, and a couple of small bedrooms that will become office and flat-files rooms.

Live in it. They have four kids, so they want the space.

That sounds great! My next house will have a basement. Probably won't be as ideal as yours, JB, but I will have one.

Have you decided on when you'd like to quit doing
comics?

*****

Can't imagine ever getting to that point!

Everyone here thanks you for this.

I actually find it odd to have so many rooms in one area of the house and have the "Alice" room so close to the kitchen.  That would have been the room that I would have wanted growing up.
