Beautiful. I love how you give it such a strong sense of motion. Perfect for Spider-man.

This looks like a piece where you sit back after completing it and say "Damn I'm good." This one is definitely a top shelf! Spider-Man has a very dynamic pose, I also am impressed by the glare on his costume. Dr Doom is awesome as well, the harsh shadows on his cloak really emphasizes the brightness of the blast.
Do you think of which version of Peter Parker is under the mask? Teen age or early 20s?
Thanks for sharing another gem!

Phenomenal. The sheer amount of power you can convey with nothing more than ink on paper is staggering.
Congratulations to the lucky owner.

Amazing!
This picture caused me to consider something I had never previously considered.
How long does it take Victor Von Doom to get dressed every morning? And does he ever lounge about sans armor (like Tony Stark regularly does)? And what if there was an attack on Doom when he was not armored up (perhaps wearing a mask)?
The funny things a commission gets one to think!

I really like the herringbone paving! It's the elements like that - not just a slab, or regular squares, but a fairly involved pattern - that turn illustrations like this into absolute classics. We're always blown away by the textures, the action, the composition... But little details like the paving are the real icing on the cake. Hats off to you again, chief.

I am so glad no one is coloring this.•• But they will, you can be sure. And past experience tells me they will knock out all the blacks on Doom's blast with color, and some may ever take it upon themselves to "fill in" the missing weblines on Spider-Man's costume. Just wait!

And what if there was an attack on Doom when he was not armored up (perhaps wearing a mask)?•• All three of those have been covered in the comics at one time or another. I showed robots dressing Doom, for instance. And there was the time we saw him attacked in his bedroom, essentially naked in bed!

I love the hyper-extension of Spider-man's left leg and the implication of him athletically avoiding Doom's blast. The shadow work is incredible. Two of many characters you "own" in my opinion. The way you draw them is canon for me. Stunning work and a very lucky commissioner.
