From September 14th to 28th I was in Orlando with my family, and (unfortunately) the Hulk roller coaster at Universal Island of Adventure was closed. Look what I found posted at the wall of the closed attraction...

And how impresive is that Close-Up of the Hulk's face? Don't bother answering; 'Very!' is the right answer.
Lovely to see those, thanks for posting.

We were there from Sep 11 to the 20th. Would have loved to have rode the coaster, but it was still an incredible theme park area. Loved the comic strip section right next to it too.

Joseph, we were there from Sep 14 to 28th. Great period to visit the parks, not so crowded. We loved the new Harry Potter attraction at Universal Studios, the best experience for us.

I'd be so pissed if I went there to find the Hulk Coaster being out of commission. It's one of my favorite rides. Fittingly, it's the only ride I know that needs a spoiler warning*!
*Regarding the initial launch - I didn't know about it before I first rode it, which really adds to the experience. I make sure to not tell anyone I know about that part if they are about to go on for the first time.

Nope.
I'm referring to the initial climb that's in an enclosed and dark tube. It starts off as a roller coaster normally would, with a slow climb until you are halfway up....then all of a sudden the lights in the tube start flashing, the electromagnets kick in to quickly accelerate you to full coaster speed within seconds. The moment you exit the tube you realize that you are at full height outside, followed by an immediate corkscrew drop.
It was definitely one of my most memorable coaster experiences, since I didn't see it coming.
Here's a POV video of what I mean - LINK
