Michael Penn - The Spider-Man figure is by Larry Lieber, the artist for Spider-Man Annual #4. Everyone else was apparently by Kirby taken from earlier work.

I am thinking of a few situations but the time he was ambushed in Avengers mansion was the worst. ------------------------------------------ Hercules had been tricked into drinking a tonne of booze before walking into Avengers mansion. He then faced Goliath (one of the strongest Marvel villains), Mr Hyde and the Wrecking Crew. I thought it was a great story and made Hercules seem pretty special by demonstrating his immortality. They killed him... and he came back (admittedly, this isn't so special for Marvel characters these days....)

Good point Peter. And probably my memory is fuzzy with some of the details now. I just thought it was a unnecessary humiliation of an otherwise powerful character.
I had forgotten about Goliath. He is a tough one. Probably without him they wouldn't have won even if Hercules was drunk.
Edit: I don't remember Hercules actually dying. I will have to check that issue again.

Oddly enough, Marvel Wikia puts Colossus, Thing, Silver Surfer (cosmic powered), Wonder Man and Namor (underwater) in the 100+ class along with heavy hitters like Hulk (enraged), Thor and Hercules.
In MY scale:
1- Hulk (enraged) 2- Hercules 3- Thor 4- Silver Surfer (powered) 5- Namor (underwater)

I can definitely see adult Colossus as one of the top-tier strongmen. He should be right up there.

Sasquatch picked up a DC-10 and flung it backwards into a hangar. That seems pretty upper-teir to me.

It's gotten kind of crazy. Even lifting 1 ton would be an incredible amount of strength.

Yep. I think that some 100+ ton structures would just break down if lifted by "human" hands. I think JB mentioned something along those lines when Gladiator tilted the Baxter Building (how much would that weight, btw?).

And drugged booze at that...
And he still took out Tiger Shark and shrugged off shots from Mr. Hyde and the Wrecking Crew before Goliath snagged him from behind and got the upper hand.
