It takes some kind of brass balls to take on a complex scene like this from this kind of perspective... and some masterly skills to pull it off so well.
The picture is better the more you get into it -- the Joker firing the guy out of the cannon and missing and then the look on his face got a smile out of me. There's something about the way you draw Spider-Man's hands that get me everytime. The Hulk wielding that wooden pillar is awesome and the way the rope and Batman's cape bleed off the page adds an extra dimension.
Top notch.

My only disappointment is the Hulk isn't dressed like a clown...
Spectacular commission though!

Great image! The Joker makes a nice substitute for the Clown, though I'm not sure if he's being a help or a hindrance.

Wow! Great job with the perspective, JB! I also really dig your work, on the Hulk, for this one.

Another great one JB. The compostion in your work is excellent. That is one of the qualities of your art that I admire the most John. You manage to make the art fun, exciting. Most importantly you tell a story.

It was, wasn't it? That didn't even register when I first posted! Still how can I help not being disappointed in not seeing you draw the Hulk in clown make-up?!

John, now you're just showing off!!! The high camera looking down on the crowd is ALWAYS so hard to do, and even when an artist tries it there is usually a figure or two that doesn't look quite right, they don't seem attached to the ground, but you never disappoint when choosing to go with extreme angles! Your mastery of the low Dutch angle is my favorite, but THIS time I think your execution of the high angle shot beats it!
Love the expressions in this piece everyone's face is telling a different story. What a fabulous piece, I dare the commissioner not to smile each time he walks in the room where this piece is hanging!
THANKS for sharing JB!
