And now, as the two killers of CHARLIE HEBDO are under siege with one hostage, one accomplice of theirs, the one who killed a cop yesterday, has taken hostage women and children in a kosher store in Paris...

The situation is getting worse every minute...

Yep porte de Vincennes, for the kosher shop, near the Nation subway station.

also the Charlie Hebdo staff was having an anti-racism editorial reunion at the moment of the attack.
The people killed were talking about the best way to fight racism.

The police are now saying the suspects are dead.

Yep and the irony is that they were killed at a printing company.
Their "hostage" was actualy in another closed room and helped the cops.
At Vincennes (the kosher market site), there're 4 dead hostages, 4 seriously wounded people, including one of the 2 hostages takers, and 3 slightly wounded cops; the other hostage taker, who was also the one who killed the police woman in Montrouge yesterday, is dead.

Let's hope that they don't get a proper Islamic burial like we
crazily did for Bin Laden....

So what kind of burial should they get? Treating the dead with respect, even those of our vilest enemies, seems to me a mark of common decency.

Doing otherwise just demeans us all, I think.

I'm not saying to chop them up and feed them to pigs,
(though that probably would prevent them from getting into
heaven according to their stupid rules, no?) or anything else
extreme - but what's wrong with Potter's Field? Should they
really get more consideration than our own homeless?

Presumably they have family or friends and those will be the people arranging the burial. To block that and insist they have something else would seem to me to be going out of the way to needlessly hurt those families who will already be grieving and be less appropriate to boot.

I'm not religious and don't think there is a particularly great way to dispose of a dead body, but probably the best way is to do so in a manner that doesn't piss off the living.

Because striving to not piss off terrorists seems to be working out for us so well?
