The barbarian is a great looking picture. Doesn't look like Conan, so any kind of backstory to him?

BTW, when the barbarian picture is enlarged, you can make out the rings (for ring-mail armor?) in pencil on the shirt that were inked as chain-mail instead. Pretty neat detail.

And then retired to write up how he did all those things, after paying off Conan's gambling debts. Not the most heroic story Robert E. Howard ever wrote but... y'know, the life of a freelance writer...
