Carl, that is a beautiful table! We're all invited over to see it, right? :-)

Brian, for whatever reason, every time I read the names "Rise of POTA" or "Dawn of the POTA," my brain goes ahead and fills in the "TO" at the end of those titles...

Sounds like everyone so far did well this year. Except Steve. Of course... :-)

Bill, I get that from potential gift-givers as well. A few days before Christmas, I stopped by a second-hand store and picked up "Pan's Labyrinth" for $3. I mentioned it to my sister and nephew, and they rolled their eyes, telling me, "THIS is why you're so hard to shop for!!"

What? It was $3. I couldn't just NOT buy it... :-)

Thank you, sir! I'll let you know if I'm ever in the neighborhood. It might be worth the trip from Colorado just to see that table!

A nice sweater and the DVDs I asked for: Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, and season one of Penny Dreadful.

No comic-related stuff at all, I'm afraid. I did get a Go-Pro though, which was a nice surprise.

Nice Christmas at home this year, got to spend some time with family.

I got some really nice gifts, some of the highlights....

A nifty Spider-Man desk lamp. I'm not exactly sure why he's sitting on a
web and he's not swinging from a web, but that's a pretty easy fix.

My grandson thought this 31" tall Stormtrooper would look cool in my
home office. Who am I to argue?

My wife bought me tickets to see Sarah McLachlan in Atlantic City in
March. We saw her back in July in Wolf Trap, VA and it was a great show
! Really looking forward to seeing her again.

And finally, the best for last, my daughter had a friend of hers draw this
nice little strip for me featuring her two boys....

I bought the first Fantastic Four Omnibus by John Byrne for my sons. When they didn't open up the cellophane by noon I couldn't resist the temptation any longer. I had to revisit those issues. Now it's a race against time to see if I can finish it before they get tired of their other presents and ask to read it.

This was the first of many Christmases that aren't about me anymore.  My wife got me the first season of the Adam West Batman on DVD, and I got a few other small things, but it was all about this guy this year:

We haven't gotten through all of his presents yet, since he could get through about three at a time before getting too overstimulated, but that means we get to carry Christmas morning through the whole weekend, which is fine with me.
