I didn't think I'd see a picture of The New 52 Superman that really looked "right" to me, but then...

Aqualad is sort of dressed like Superman.

I love JR Jr. work, but this Superman looks like a snap together model.
Superman's classic costume is great. Why does DC constantly fucks with it?

James, that's not Junior!
But sorry, not even for Jazzy John. None for me, thanks.

I tried to accept it, but that costume is unsalvageable. It appears to start from the premise of the space-age armor that "allows" the grafting of the s-shield and the cape.
Why does Superman need a military collar, knee-pads, and Audry Hepburn sleeves?
But ... Jazzy-John!!!!!

Still not my cup of tea, but it's the best I think that character has looked.

Is there anyone out there who admires this costume, other than possibly Jim Lee?

Only iconic element of that costume is the "S" shield.

There was a Pre-Crisis issue of Superman, late in his run, in which aliens abduct Superman to help them with some problem on their planet and in his place leave a robotized replacement who sort of resembles him. This looks like that character might have had he stuck around a little longer...
