After looking at the great art in this thread. I went straight to amazon and ordered a couple of Dan Dare books.

The writer, Peter O'Donnell, pushed for his old partner Jim Holdaway
to land the gig and the world was denied a Frank Hampson
newspaper strip.

No offense to Holdaway's work, but denied seems like an appropriate
word. That strip is stunning.

BTW Terry, JB, you and whoever else may have pages should get
together with Scott Dunbier and see what can be done about a Frank
Bellamy DAN DARE Artist Edition. Then you guys can keep your
originals and enjoy the pages you don't have. (this idea is not self
serving at all.@)

Scott's Artist's Editions are fantastic; I've received the Steranko volume this week and am delighted with it.

Scott's a Bellamy fan, too, so who knows . . .
