Brian Hague, thanks for the info! I used to have that MTU issue, yet never made the connection with Barry and Iris(maybe because when it was published, Barry's crew-cut was long gone...so was Iris, but that's another story!)
In WHAT IF # 1 (original series), Uatu makes a passing reference to the first Superman/Spider-Man story, and a blue-sleeved arm is shown about to land a punch to the webhead.

Amazing how quickly some of the people posting comments lost the point of the article. I mean, how in the world does Cerebus appearing SPAWN qualify as an "unofficial" crossover??

I've often said the main reason I've avoided characters like the Flash and Quicksilver is that I'm not really good with running poses. Looking at "Speed Demon" on that cover, I wonder what I was worried about. What the HECK is going on with his legs???

His post notes that "one of the panels showed all the "sold-out" heroes in a cage in Hell, their arms sticking through the bars, Superman, Batman, Wolverine, Spiderman, and a slew of others."

I assume that's "Bob Spiderman".

Barry Allen and Iris appear on this Infantino-inspired cover of Marvel Team-Up

****************

I never noticed this at all! And this is one of the first comics I ever owned.

I assume that's "Bob Spiderman".

SER: An author friend sent me review proofs of his
upcoming book. I read it with the intent of juts
providing global comments -- no copyediting or proofing,
as a professional had already taken one pass and would do
so again.

But there was one error I couldn't let stand: "Spiderman"
instead of "Spider-Man."

For some reason, 'Wonderwoman' bothers me more than 'Spiderman'.

Wonder Woman's bracelet looks gold in that panel... I'm not happy.
