In honor of Batman's 75th, an excellent compilation of behind-the-scenes photos from the various different Batman films released over the years has gone online, thought i'd share:

Sam K:  "Lets hope Bill Finger get his do publicly some day."

****

As a plagiarist yourself, Sam, I would think you would be more of a Bob Kane fan.

Batman 75th Anniversary panel from WonderCon featuring Jim Lee, Bruce Timm, Kevin Conroy discussing Batman thru the years. They hyped up the1966 TV show, Frank Miller's TDKR and the animated series but it seemed weird that Bob Kane was barely (if at all) mentioned and they ignored Neal Adams contributions as well. Still, nice comments by Timm and Conroy.

As long as I've been here, it's sad and telling that I have no idea what this is about. This is the price you pay for not being E-Social...

Anyway....Batman's really old, huh?

I haven't read Batman in two years, but still love the character... and I can reread tons of backissues, so... Happy birthday!

As part of their year long celebration for the 75th Anniversary, DC Comics have announced plans for "Batman Day" on July 23rd, 2014. Comic shops will be giving out these masks:

Is it me, or is O'Neill and Adams' contributions being overlooked??

It is odd that the longest-lived iteration of the Batman cowl was excluded. He only wore it for 25 or 30 years, right?
