looks like they surgically replaced Robin's Head on that 69 cover. I wonder what needed fixing?

Conrad, it definitely appears that Robin's head was redrawn. I noticed that when I first saw the picture. Maybe the head was turned differently and Jerry Robinson wanted it changed (or the editor), or maybe there was a smudge, or some sort of mistake?
If I had the original art, I'd probably hold it up to the light and look at it from the back to see if the original work could still be seen, just out of curiosity.
