When I was in Jr High I was starting to lose touch a bit with comics (as is normal) when I came across Amazing Adventures X-Men reprints. This was my Introduction to the X-Men and Your work was on the covers.

Then I met a kid in school and we talked about comics...He offered to seel me his collection of X-Men comics...109-135 for $40.00. I had no idea....

I knew your name now....followed you to Alpha Flight, then Fantastic Four, I met you at a con in an elevator and at the signings you were kind and patient with my fan comments. Then you announced a move to DC...I followed. I kept reading comics long after I would have stopped to continue reading your stories. You're influence on my comic love is probably second only to Stan "the Man" himself.

Thank You. Thank you for continuing to give me access to your love of the characters regardless of what the industry is doing to them.
