This has to easily be one of my favorite comic images (right up there with George Perez's JLA/Avengers 3 which I actually had engraved onto the cover of one of my laptops)
Does anyone have the Ed Hannigan image in black & white? I'm also trying to find the actual poster to purchase. I've found some that were 20"x20", but I know that they had made some that were 50"x50"
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I had this poster (large version), but no idea what happened to it. It was great. I wish I still had it or at least remembered what I did with it.

The large size poster of this is on the wall at my local comic store. I routinely stop to gaze at it on my way out.

Something looks wrong here. It looks like the original marvel universe compilation poster but angel and the beast are different. Daredevil and Sasquatch seem different too. Maybe there were different versions in different sizes.

The Hannigan poster is probably the best comic universe poster there is.
Two other favorites:
I can't think of any great DCU posters. Are there any?

Ted, between the time that the original Marvel Universe books came out, and the poster was produced, quite a few characters had undergone major changes, and were retouched to make them more up-to-date to when the poster was coming out. By the time the poster was produced, the original X-men were not only a part of X-Factor (which wasn't around when the original OHOTMU came out, but the Beast had also lost his fur. You'll probably see all of X-factor changed to represent their X-Factor costumes, which was what they were wearing by the time the poster came out.
I'm sure there were other changes on that poster, but I can't remember what they were. I'd love to see a good quality b&w version of this one.

So there was no earlier version of this poster based on the original covers?

I'm reasonably certain that the answer is no, but I could easily be mistaken.

"George Perez's JLA/Avengers 3 which I actually had engraved onto the cover of one of my laptops" ************* I've never heard of having a laptop cover being engraved. What does yours look like Corey?

Speaking of Ed Hannigan, here's something cool that is also related to JB:

Yeah, I saw this one. That's when I figured that if this image is out there, there MUST be a b&w one with better resolution.
I'd love to see the covers of the Deluxe editions that JB did in B&W also. The Essential versions of the OHOTMU are all in B&W. I'd really like to see any of these covers in B&W as separate images.
Thanks again, Rich.
