Most of the comics I have left are the most valuable ones I ever owned. With the exception of four of them. I wouldn't get more than 5 dollars a book. If that Cover price is more likely.

I've been giving doubles away to Trick-or-Treaters for the past couple of years.  It's sad that a lot of them have never seen a comic book before, but cool to get a new generation reading about Batman, Superman, the X-Men, G.I. Joe, ALF, Archie, etc.

I had a pile of 50 books to give away to on hallowen. I got exactly 3 people to show up at my door. I love pouring through the quarter bins when a shop has them. I always spend a couple bucks or more.

Every Halloween, I give away comics that I've done.  My neighborhood is full of fences though, so nobody comes to my door.  I go to my sister's house and give them away there.  Gave away 154 this year!  I have a bunch of kids who look forward to my latest thing every year.  Even the kids who seem to be new are really excited to get comics!  I don't know where 6 and 7 year-olds are seeing comics these days, but they know what they are and are very happy to get free ones.  I think the big companies are missing out on a very sure bet by no longer really trying to get comics into the hands of little ones.
