Man, I love the Defenders. Even more so for the "big 4".Some of my very favorite Marvel characters in one book? Sign me up.
I really liked Sub-Mariner and the Incredible Hulk when I first got into comics...like age 3 or 4. I had my Dad's old Marvels to read, and man, those guy's rampages really struck a chord with me. I recall really liking Captain America a lot, too.
Silver Surfer and Dr. Strange became faves a little later, maybe 3 years after the X-Men and Spider-Man craze of age 6. (As an aside reading JB's Austin's, and Claremont's X-Men run with then-seemingly weird 10 year old ads in my tree fort was among the best things of my youth.)
