Whattya know?  Russia is pushing for Syria to relinquish control of their chemical weapons to international monitors to help defused a military incursion.

You'd think the guy with the Nobel Peace Prize would have thought of this instead of the guys who butchered Chechnya.

In your rush to back Jodi into a corner, you failed to read the by-line, Brennan.  That information comes from the Associated Press.  Fox just republished it on their site.

I sense that there is a cumulative effect to all this discussion of chemical weapons.

Speaking of snarky, I can't even begin to imagine the $#!+-storm that would ensue if someone chose to use direct language like "tryant," "dictator" and "idiot" to represent our current impotent democrat president.

*****************************

If you and the GOP did decide to use such language, it would actually be a step UP. You, and other 'Pubs, have called him MUCH worse.

Just curious, what exactly have I called him, beyond turning the tables and repeating Monte's use of the word "impotent" here specifically?

Wow.....it amazes me how people have used this thread to protect the Democrat party. You see we libertarians are pretty consistent. We were against the war with Iraq then and we are against a war in Syria now. Too bad republicans and democrats can't say the same thing.
If this attack happens it is Obama's war and all the chaos that follows is on him. The only thing we will accomplish is give a country to our enemies. Did the Obama administration not learn anything from Libya. We help them over throw a dictator and what did we get for it ? Our embassy attacked and our diplomat murdered. What thanks will we get from the so called rebels that we will be helping. Probably more dead Americans. Are we really going to help people that have been video taped eating human flesh and praising that blood thirsty and fictional god of theirs. Do any of you believe for a second that Obama is unaware of the video ?

LOL coming from you John that is so funny, with all the lying propaganda memes you seem to believe and spread.

But again, I notice you are ignoring the question I keep asking. The right has voted to get rid of Obamacare 40 times and it has cost the taxpayers so far, around 55 million. Fifty five million, wow what a waste. How do you justify that?

Matt in Brennan's defense it is the link I used, when siting info countering what someone right leaning says, I like to use the source in which they wll not claim as a lying liberal propaganda source.  I find it first in a non biased source then try to find it on FOX.

Tim I will link it when I get back from lunch.

I for one am not interested in protecting the Dem party in any kind of blind loyalty. I won't vote for any Democrat who supports Prism or votes to attack Syria. I am essentially a post-democrat socialist in a state where it is hard enough to be even a moderate Democrat.

I also think PBO should have his Nobel Peace Prize nullified because of his drone strike policy.

I'm not even remotely interested in trying to justify anything here on behalf of the Republicans, Jodi -- that doesn't add anything to this discussion about Syria.  I invoked the Affordable Care Act (which YOU here have chosen to refer to as "Obamacare") earlier in this thread to illustrate how this administration had spent their political currency instead of choosing to aggressively pursue the closing of Gitmo (which was a topic brought up by someone else in the first place).

The current administration's actions ARE, however, germane to the discussion of how this administration should or will possibly respond to the current situation in Syria.

the guys who butchered Chechnya
------------------
So, Chechen separatist Muslim terrorists massacre a school full of innocent children and a theater full of innocent men, women and children in other parts of Russia, Putin responds by sending troop reinforcements in to root out and punish the terrorists (on his own soil), and he's a 'Butcher'?

How, I wonder, do you refer to Bush (who invaded Iraq for no good reason whatsoever) or Obama with his drone strikes? Did the Boston PD 'butcher' poor Chechen Tamerlan Tsarnaev?

Uncle Sam called, he's whipped up another batch of Kool-Aid for you.
