A couple of comments:
The Silver Surfer/Buscema book: Buscema's best work on SS came in issue #1, #3 (introducing Mephisto), and #4 (Thor/Asgard issue). The Thor issue was the famous one where, according to Buscema, he walked into Stan Lee's office quite enthused about the pages, only to have Stan cut the work up verbally (and ironically, years later, tell Buscema it was one of the best books they had ever done together). Whether for that reason or the reduction in the size of the book, or some other, the later work, while nice, never had, at least in my opinion, the same zip. Unfortunately, none of the first four issues are in this volume, though it's well worth having.
But a real triumph, in my opinion, is the Joe Kubert Enemy Ace AE volume. Some of Kubert's best work (with a Russ Heath story snuck in)! Can't recommend it enough!
I look forward to the Kamandi AE volume, and hope it's devoted strictly to Royer-inked books; the later inkers were not my cup of tea. In fact, by the time we get to Kamandi, aren't there extant stats of most or all of the pencil pages? They've been printed piecemeal in the Twomorrows publications, but it would be nice to see them assembled in order and published in AE format.
