The other thread was closed so...For those who ordered, the Mark Schultz Xenozoic Tales Artist's Edition is due out Wednesday.
Next Month brings the Joe Kubert Tor Artist's Edition. I have no idea what period this is from.
Chris are there any details involving this Edition that you can give us on top of Diamond's description?

I received my Xenozoic AE last week in the mail. The Tor ad says:
"Legendary creator Joe Kubert was responsible for an amazing stream of great works, for more than a sixty year period. Kubert was also the subject of the acclaimed Joe Kubert's Tarzan: Artist's Edition that came out last year. Now, in his second IDW Artist's Edition, we present Joe Kubert's Tor: Artist's Edition, collecting four oversized issues and covers, along with the rarely seen Newspaper strip of Tor by Kubert, all in the award-winning Artist's Edition format."
Seems like the newspaper strip would be from 1959 (that is when they tried to sell Tor to the papers). The rest is either from the 1950s or from the 1993 Epic series.

I am a fan of Kubert's TOR. I'm tempted to make this my first ARTIST EDITION buy

Wallace - JB's FF was my first last month. Within a couple weeks, I've also picked up The Spirit, The Rocketeer, Michael Golden's portfolio of the G.I.JOE Yearbook #2, and I've got Mazzucchelli's Daredevil waiting for me at the shop. Plus I've ordered another handful of past ones that are still available through Diamond.
Just saying - "my first" Artist's Edition will cost you a lot more than just one book once you've actually seen the first.

Just so I quit giving Mr. Ryall a hard time, I would like to change the title to IDW ARTIST'S EDITIONS & PRESTIGE BOOKS, if the mods don't mind. Despite creating the title, I'm starting to feel guilty about it. Chris has been a really good sport.

Just picked up My copy of the Mark Schultz' Xenozoic Tales Artist's Edition.
Holy crap in a hat! This is another home run. First, it's a twice up so it's big. Getting to see his title pages are such a treat. It's just really beautiful work. What I didn't expect was the behind the scenes pages in the back. The sketches are great but the acetate overlay with the color comp underneath was the icing on the cake. Great book! And again, the graphic design work is second to none.
Being a twice up it's a little pricey, but very much worth the money if you can part with it. Kudos to IDW!

Stephen, I'm curious if any of the sketch pages have been printed before in other collections of Xenozoic Tales. Do you know if they are the same sketches that were in the 3 volume set of Cadillacs & dinosaurs?
