Hey Joe welcome aboard. Heres what you do. e-mail Orlando and ask for bigger scans. If your not digi-inking them you can print them in a light blue ink.or use a lightbox if you have one.

Glad your joining us on the project. i'll put your name in the update

you sure you want all 3?

Guys - after much thought I am going to turn over coloring duties for the two pages from Justin that I've done, but I would like to finish the cover I'm doing for Steve Gumm for the sake of not giving up on it.  Sorry if this is a let down, but I've talked with Justin a bit about this and done much thinking.  I feel that coloring is a weak point for me, so I'm going to pass on it.

The other side is that I think my inking is strong enough and quick enough to pick up another page (besides Darren's that I'm doing), so if Joe doesn't want to do 3 pages total, I'd be glad to take one, leaving the inking at 2 for me and 2 for Joe.  If not, I'm cool with that.  I'd be glad for Joe to do all three if he wants.  It's more fun with more people!!!

For me to ink a page I ask that the pencil scan be no smaller than 300 dpi.  600 dpi is prefered.  I need to contact Darren (today) to get a hi-res of his pencils to ink.

James - please update the list, and maybe when I get the inking done I can throw in some colors, but I don't want to slow things down, and if someone can be coloring some stuff while I ink - then let's do it.

Sorry for letting everyone down, but I'm just trying to stay in the realm where I know I can produce stuff quickly so we can get this show on the road!!!

Having zipped thru this thread again, I wanted to add a bit of advice to some of you aspiring artists (naming no names, pointing no fingers).

Don't draw what you can't draw!

I know from personal experience that there is a great drive to do all the cool shots you've seen in the comics, but most of them are cool because the artist has a solid grasp on basic drawing skills, like foreshortening and dynamics. Take a long, hard look at your own work and -- while constantly working to capture those skills, of course -- if you find you lack these abilities, avoid shots that need them. Look for other ways to make an interesting shot.

JB - thanks for even taking the time to look at what's going on here!  You bring up a good point for sure - one of the reason's I don't pencil a lot!!!

Darren - Very good bud.  You aren't letting anyone down.  For someone who might be as equally as busy as you, I understand getting over booked!!!
