John Byrne has given his blessings for us to produce a fan fic project from this plot for The Invisible Woman Limited Series. I would like to ink a couple of pages. We only have the first issue plotted, so the question is how long do we want to make this limited series last?

I'll pencil at least a few pages of the first issue. I think it
should be four or five issues long. We have the first issue, so
the second issue should be Sue discovering where she is and the new
world around her. She is supposed to become some sort of warrior
queen or something so it is obviously some sort of wartorn world and
there are bad guys (and hopefully good guys as well). The third
issue can be a jump in time where she has been there for around a
decade or so. If you figure she starts out as being around 30 or
so initially we can then age her to be 40, 50 and then 60 through the
subsequent issues. That'll be neat.
Oh, and we should submit any kind of designs we can for the alien dimension as well.

I can handle up to three pages.
Danny, how do you feel about taking charge and
assigning pages? It doesn't matter much to me
which pages I'm given, though I would appreciate it if
they were in sequence.

On second thought, we can probably start the second issue with Sue having already been in this strange dimension for about a decade. Then we can have her tell the story of how she came to be there in a flashback sort of sequence. That way, we can have her aged a good decade and missing her family for a good long while.

If possible, I'd REALLY like to do that first page with Sue in the bath. :)

Does Reed and the Fantastic Four save her? If so how will Reed figure out that Sue is trapped in another dimension?
Will you keep it in JB's era of FF? It would be fun for it to be a homage to him and the wonderful contributions he put into the book.

If we're going to have them at Avengers' mansion then I guess we should have her in JB's white and blue uniform. Although in subsequent issues I would think that years in an alternate dimension would involve her wearing something else entirely as her FF uniform would be bound to get torn up or something.

Isn't the FF costume special? Will there be superhuman characters in this story?
Stephen, isn't JB's modification colors were White and Black?

They're certainly special in the sense that they're
made of unstable molecules. Which means that
they're unlikely to get torn up or something. I recall
that black with white trim was the color scheme then.
I think it's admirable that some of you have
ambitions to take this beyond the single issue
plotted by JB but don't you think you're putting the cart
before the horse? If the FF Challenge was any
indication it takes quite a while to generate a single
issues worth of material when it comes to these
internet minions! Let's focus on the task at hand.

Word of advice: DO NOT TRY TO MAKE THIS A PERIOD PIECE.Set it "now", in the sense of the fashions, the hairstyles, the technology being what we see today, not what would have been shown twenty years ago. Don't worry about trying to make it match up with whatever is currently in the FF, either.

What do you think of her hair being like this? I think of Invisible Woman as being kind of curvy...is that the consensus?
