I loved the early annuals because they included really significant events.

A few of my early favorites -

Amazing Spider-man Annual #1 (Spider-Man vs. Sinister Six)
Avengers Annual #1 (Avengers vs. Enchantress, Executioner, Living Laser, Mandarin, Power Man, Swordsman & Ultimo)
Avengers Annual #2 (New Avengers vs. Original Avengers)
Avengers Annual #7 (Avengers, Captain Mar-Vell & Adam Warlock vs. Thanos)
Fantastic Four Annual #1 (Fantastic Four vs. Sub-Mariner)
Fantastic Four Annual #2 (Fantastic Four vs. Doctor Doom)
Fantastic Four Annual #3 (Wedding of Sue Storm & Reed Richards)
Fantastic Four Annual #4 (Original Human Torch returns)
Hulk Annual #1 (Hulk vs. Inhumans)
Journey Into Mystery Annual #1 (Thor vs. Hercules)
Marvel Two-In-One Annual #2 (Thing, Spider-Man, Avengers, Captain Mar-Vell & Adam Warlock vs. Thanos)

****

Another great annual! This was one of the first back issues I ever bought. I had never seen it before I saw it in the longbox and it was $10 bucks. This was back in 1982. It was a little beat up, but wow what a great comic! Perfect!

Alan did three great annuals last year: Fantastic Four Annual #33, Daredevil Annual #1 and Wolverine Annual (vol 2) #1.

GI Joe Yearbook 2 really was something to my 8 year old brain.

Betond the crazy crossover mess of Annuals in the early 90's like Atlantis Attacks and Days of Future Present really can't recall any annuals that I read that stuck in my  memory.
