I've always found the "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" tag to be at odds with the Avengers' actual rosters; featuring such folks as Wasp, Hank Pym, Hawkeye, etc.
I know, I know: each of those heroes has done "mighty" things ad infinitum, but they are not inherently "mighty", in the strictest sense of the word.
If we were sticking to that, then Cap would be about the only "non-powered" person I could see getting included, and yeah, that's just silly.
Anyway, in the face of all that tangential nonsense, here's my 8:
1) Cap 2) Iron Man 3) Hawkeye 4) Scarlet Witch 5) Vision 6) Wasp 7) Dr. Pym (as his WCA persona with the mini-gadgets) 8) She-Hulk

This was my favorite version of Pym too...funny how none of them ever really stuck, regardless of what powers or costume or name he was given.

I liked this character a lot - one of the few of the Dr. Druid/Starfox era that I could enjoy. I just wish they had given her a better name originally.
She and Starfox are two characters who Roger Stern wrote and made me a fan. They really haven't done much since IMO. I know that many laud Warren Ellis' efforts with Monica Rambeau but I've never read his take.

If you liked Stern's take on Monica, I'm not sure you'd like Ellis'. The two portrayals don't gibe all that well.

I like Monica as well. The name Captain Marvel rubbed me the wrong way,
but Photon is fine.
