Consider me happy (end of the world or not)! I'll be curious to see just how everything gets wrapped up here, especially with the mess made of things. As the next couple of issues come in, I'd love to see just how far-reaching the effects of the disaster will go, and how everyone who can manages to survive. (I'd be in the middle of that "less habitable" zone in yellow, but my nieces and nephew would be okay -- at least as "okay" as you can get with 90% of the world cooked by a piece of the Sun.)

My wife got me the subscription only black and white cover version today, and I read it as soon as I got home. Based on the first issue, I think this series will be an even more satisfying read for me than THE HIGH WAYS!
<sadness>JB, with all of the death and destruction on Earth, I never would have thought...</sadness>

Like. Love doomsday storylines and this made me want to see more.
BTW, the only covers at my store were the all white covers. Wish they had one above; so hard to keep white covers.

First comic that I read from my stack tonight. Great stuff, JB! Great fleshed out cast, I cared about everyone right from the start and I dread what kind of horror that they're going to find on Earth. The polite Canadian, Gord West, is my favorite so far.

That was ridiculous. It felt like an intellectual 70s science fiction film script made with a hundred million dollar 2013 budget.

What a great start to this series. Looking forward to the survivors upcoming adventures. Without spoiling, I have a feeling others made it through the cataclysm.Keeping my breathing apparatus on until next month.

Great start to the series, with the dread expectation of the inevitable end of civilization really amping up the tension in the first part of the book. Issue two can't come soon enough!
Also, I smiled when I read that West is not only Canadian, but from Manitoba! Always a treat to see my home province get a mention, even if technically it got destroyed with most of the rest of the world...

I got my copy and I really like this. I'm anxious to see how (if?) these characters survive.

Without spoiling, I have a feeling others made it through the cataclysm.•• No spoiler, Rob! I didn't set up those sub-plots just to fill space! ;-) Plus, that was sort of what the wolf was for. Yup, there are other survivors!
