Hawkeye #10 - Great comic.

Thanos Rising #2 - Hope this is better than the first issue.

Ten Grand #1 - Though I'd give this a shot. JMS' comics are kind of hit or miss with me.

X-Factor #255 - Kinda sad to see this go. I hope Madrox doesn't go back into limbo.

Wallace,

We're you as suprised as I was with what happened to Edelman?

Not really, Shawn. Based on what we saw of her last issue, I figured
SOMETHING bad was going to happen. I don't think I expected it to be
so final though.

Action Comics #20. There's no story here, or maybe I cannot find it. I'm waiting for issue #25 to decide if I should drop Action... four bucks for this stuff is simply too much.

Superior Spider-Man #9. My favorite ongoing. And this is the best issue so far. Loved the battle and its ending was heartbreaking.

Iron Man #258.1. I haven't read IM in over ten years, except for an issue drawn by Alan Davis (tied to Thor and Avengers, both also by Davis. The American title was... Standoff, I think), the first Fraction/Larroca tpb and the Iron Man/Doom miniseries. The Golden Avenger is still one of my faves but... I don't find recent runs appealing. Let's see if Michelinie will remind to me why I liked the character when I was a kid! I mean he was the one who made me love Iron Man (excluding the 1960s animated series, of course).

Here's what I thought...

WORLDS FINEST #12- I'm not into this version of Desaad. I'll probably drop this due to lack of interest in DC rather than the book itself.

INVINCIBLE UNIVERSE #2- Great look at Cecil Stedman. As I noted earlier to Wallace, I was pretty suprised by the ending.

HAWKEYE #10- Great Francesco Francavilla art.

INDESTRUCTIBLE HULK #7- Walt Simonson drawing classic Thor! Need there by any more said? A great book!

IRON MAN #258.1- Not a big Dave Ross fan but I'll take him to get a few more Michelinie and Layton stories.

IRON MAN #9- Read this after seeing Iron Man 3 and it matches up pretty good with that. That's probably what Marvel wants so your mileage may very but I'm okay with it. I'm not a big "secret origin" type guy so we'll see how this book goes with that. I've survived Tony giving up the armor for alcoholism, Tony recklessly going after armor based characters, Tony getting paralyzed, and Tony "dying" and not telling his closest friends so this could go that route where everything pretty much falls back into place. Or it could be Teenager Tony (which I thankfully missed) where Marvel tries to spruce something up and blows it. The Dale Eaglesham artwork is an upgrade over Greg Land for me though.

IRON MAN COMING OF MELTER #1- Great comic for the kids if they love Iron Man! It's also got a Mike Friedrich/George Tuska back-up!

RED SHE-HULK #65- Lots of action, good art, a "Hulk On The Run" storyline...great stuff but I'm still more interested in everyone else above Red She-Hulk.

SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #9- A good comic but whenever I read this book I think "If I were writing Spider-Man, wouldn't I want to write Spider-Man and not Doctor Octopus?". That pulls me away from totally enjoying this book because we all know it's eventually going to work out but getting there may be tough for me.

THANOS RISING #2- I may be done with this. It's a classic character I like vs. an artist that I don't care for. The story has to make the difference and so far it's not.

X-FACTOR #255- I'm really liking Tier. This is another book where we know the heroes will eventually win the day but what sacrifice it's going to take is keeping me on the edge of my seat!

Also bought Amazing Spider-Man #163. It's a Kingpin story by Len Wein, Ross Andru, and Mike Esposito. Great stuff! I'm gonna pick up #250 today during Free Comic Book Day at my LCS.

Just arrived today after an eBay win:

Fantastic Four Visionaries: Walter Simonson Vol. 2
Fantastic Four Visionaries: Walter Simonson Vol. 3

Vol. 1 should arrive in a few days.

I've not read these stories since they were published in the 1990's. At the
time, I was glad to read something that righted ship for the most part.
