Finished issue one of the new super-series yesterday, so here's a glimpse of a page, for those of you with a fondness for sound effects!

Looks pretty exciting. Love that first panel There's so much included in the picture, with the trashed cars, the perspective, the composition that leads your eyes across the 'widescreen', and then the angled border gives it an extra sense of drama and action.

Panel three! No one draws a gauntleted hand quite like our
host.

I love that first panel.  As I save up for a commission and try to decide what characters I want to request I already know that it will probably be a perspective shot.

For me, pretty much everything is! I lay a perspective grid onto most panels, even if there are no backgrounds as such (or at all!). I find it helps give the proper "weight" to the figures.

Side Note: I am quite pleased with the perspective in that first panel. When I place the principle vanishing point inside the frame, I sometimes end up with distortion at the edges, but, at least to my eyes, that hasn't happened this time.
