I've never seen anything but professionalism from Byrne.

Being human, I've had my share of lapses. Don't even deny them. But also don't make an avocation of them!!

What's crazy is that on Larsen's twitter feed it's reading the other way around... that JB is attacking him!!! Larsen also states that he's blocked from commenting here. I suppose there can be no civil resolution in this instance...

Par for the course.

Larson also states that he's blocked from commenting here.

Larsen WAS here, for a while. But he left, announcing his departure after a very short while. When members quit, their accounts are terminated. Makes it easier to keep an accurate count of the active members, given the number of people who seem to visit the site, sign up, and then not return.

No one is AUTOMATICALLY "blocked", unless they try to join up using one of the servers that has proved a problem in the past. Since Larsen was here, I don't think this would be the case.

Like the guy or not, agree with him or not, can we at least spell the
dude's name correctly?
Erik with a K. Larsen with an E.

Sorry, but this kind of thing drives me nuts.

Thinking about the past, this isn't the first time Larsen has been in the
middle of something like this. I don't remember why it started, but I
remember the verbal sparing that went on between him and Peter
David 15-20 years ago. My LCS would keep store copies of CBG and
Savage Dragon just so the customers could track the bickering without
having to buy the books. The back and forth banter was more
entertaining than the Savage Dragon stories. The shop owner didn't
believe we should have to buy a book for the letters column.

Question:  Larsen does seem to be deliberately keeping the fire burning by talking about John Byrne, but aren't we on the Forum helping to fan the flames by continually talking about Erik Larsen?  And in turn, his Twitter followers get to say, "Look what they're saying about Erik Larsen?"

And the JBForum goes on with, "Can you believe what they keep saying about John Byrne???"

Ad infinitum...?

Continually? I do not think that word means what you think it means.

I'm the same. Everyone makes mistakes, so I can understand an
occasional misspelling, but when the name is correctly spelled in the
thread..

(Gotcha... only in the sense that this thread/topic goes on for 14 pages!)

After reading all the posts here, I can see why my employer doesn't encourage their managers to have a FACEBOOK or TWITTER account.

LINKED IN, yes; FACEBOOK, no.
