I read it last night and I enjoyed it very much. The ending reminded me of the famous Twilight Zone episode where William Shatner is a passenger on a plane and looks out the window to see the gremlin on the wing. Always thought that was something of a primal fear. I'm all aboard for the 4 issues!

Lovely issue. Solid story and the art is fantastic, complimented beautifully by the colouring. Complimenti, JB.

Gave the first issue a shot, but it isnt for me. The chatacters arent winning me over and I think I just needed a bit more. The art is beautiful, though. I love the ship designs and such. I look forward to your next book.

Really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next issue.
Only problem I had was viewing it digitally as the double page spread at the start wasn't formatted so that it could be viewed all at once. So one had to page back and forth to read the conversation.

I just reread THE HIGH WAYS, and it was even more enjoyable the second
time.
Every page looks great, and I found myself taking the time to pause and
admire each panel. Jonesy's pose at the bottom left corner of page 4 made
me nod in appreciation both times I saw it.
Oh, and I caught something that I missed during the first read. There is a
reflection of the man I (Wallace) saw ducking behind the bulkhead in the
transparent dome of my (Wallace's) headpiece!
Have I mentioned before how much I enjoy seeing JB draw "regular" people?

Really liked the first ish! Science fiction ala 2001 where there's actual science involved as far as realistically portraying space travel. Looking forward to the next issue now that the stage is set..
