Marvellous!

I think we don't get to see the Hulk often enough in commissions. Thing vs the Hulk with She-Hulk thrown into the mix is a great idea.

You don't come much better than these characters drawn this way.

They are all brilliant but the Hulk steals the show. Great form he looks solid! Great use of thick and thins to infer bulk.

Love it!

I'm regularly impressed, JB, that you really aim to please -- consistently hittin' the mark on what you allow as a pretty fair number of specific requests.

••

It comes down, really, to the nature of the requests. Notice that the customer here did not attempt to actually choreograph the piece. That's where trouble often arises, since so few people seem able to fully visualize an image in their minds, and will often ask for elements that require multiple camera angles. Here, a short list of things to be included -- like an emphasis on Captain America, the number 40 and a cat -- presented no difficulty.

Great work, JB!  The Hulk interaction is my favorite, but I do love how you draw Red Skull.  He always comes off so sinister.

The commissions that JB turns out are always impressive, but for me the true testament of their high quality is when he closes out a year with - possibly - the best of the 2012 batch (thus far).

This is really outstanding!
