Like, say… Neal Adams or John Romita?

My vote for Lee Weeks! Met him at a ChicagoCon circa late '80's when he was a student at Kubert's school.  Reconnected years later in Philly as a pro. Great guy and great artist.

I didn't say that was the only way for an artist to get noticed, Pascal.  As I recall, Bill Sienkiewicz was considered a Neal Adams clone early in his career.  He gained more recognition when he started drawing in his own style.

Count me in with another "vote" for Paul Pelletier. I first noticed him on
GREEN LANTERN. I love his clean lines and dynamic figures.

Paul Pelletier gets my vote. He recently finished a stint on the Hulk that was just breath-taking. Some of the best art the Hulk has ever had.

Keith Pollard with ink wash by Alfredo Alcala. He sure knew how to draw hard
punches.

Nice stuff!

I'll go with Cameron Stewart.

Kerry Gammill is the first one that popped in my head.  Pollard for sure, and P. Craig Russell too.  I will add Paul Gulacy, Brian Bolland, Paul Smith and maybe Art Adams.

Kerry Gammill and Tom Grummett are clearly overlooked masters of what
they do.
