Joe, feel free to send money to my paypal account to help the cause. ;)

Thanks Eric. I was very surprised when they asked if they could feature me for the week. It is a nice compliment. Thread drift over.

Dan Brereton doing (my) pantheon of horror monsters - Freddy, Jason, Michael, Pinhead, Leatherface.  With victims strewn about.

John Byrne would be the artist.
The commission would be as big as I could get, in grey tones, probably with the FF and Dr Doom.

I like Jovi's idea of a collaboration between several artists.  For me, it would be a comic similar to what JB did with George Perez on Action Comics #600 instead of a single piece of art.  It would be a story and light pencils by JB.  The artists would draw their respective characters in their own style.

I'm not sure if aestetically it would work though.  I guess the styles of the artists I choose would have to be similar like JB and Perez.

I would DEFINITELY ask for a multi-commission, showing the untold stories leading up to "Days of Future Past," each one in the largest format available.

1)  Sentinels decimating the FF, with one member being spectacularly killed, and Franklin Richards manifesting a newly unveiled super-power. They would be in the original uniform, and with the Thing, not the Shulk.  The setting:  The Baxter Building.

2)  The Avengers, as they were known at the time JB originally did the story (the specific members to be included up to JB's discretion), with the Hulk, battling the sentinels.  A sentinel will be applying some sort of ray/beam against the Hulk, which will cause him to revert to Banner.  In the background, a seemingly endless army of sentinels is ready to join the fray.  The setting:  The SHIELD Helicarrier.

3)  The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants battling the sentinels, with something indicating that this is the first battle of this iteration of the sentinels unleashed against the mutants.  Magneto, defender of all mutants, is included in this battle.  The setting:  A not yet decimated city.

4)  Finally, the Uncanny X-Men, along with a couple of other mutant non-members, in an epic fight with the sentinels.  All details left to JB except:

All four commissions would ignore all Marvel continuity coming after the original story was released.  AND Spider-Man would be included in one of the scenes (up to JB).

I have a few big dreams/goals in my life.  This is one of them.

OR:

A big scene from the untold Avengers: West Coast Kang storyline,

OR:

The cover of the Incredible Hulk/Metal Master issue.

If you had unlimited $$$ and could get any commission you wanted
tomorrow...

1) What artist would you ask?

2) What characters/situation would you ask for?

---

1) John Byrne

2) Characters from all of the titles he's ever drawn engaged in a battle royal
covering the four walls of my little graphic novel/trade paperback room

I can get more than one?

Ok,
Mark Schultz commission of Doc Savage and The Shadow fighting
Nazi's in 1930's New York, on the Empire State Building. I think I
need Monk and Ham in a Gyrocopter as well.
Size-30x40.

Also,
Lee Weeks commission of a Hulk montage. 30x40.

Finally,
Adam Kubert commission of The Lone Ranger, Tonto and Zorro held
up behind a group of rocks on a western plain with the Mexican Army
on one side, and the Cavendish Gang on the other.
Size-20x60 extreme widescreen.
