We still have power in NW DC -- thankfully.  After looking at some of the flood pics in NYC, the subway stations, etc, I feel like we got the "light end" of it.  Hope everyone is okay.

Power still out, but the storm seems to have passed.

We had a power "blip", but no sustained power loss...the bridges are
open, so I will be heading in to work today.

We had lots of driving wind last night, and the power flickered in and
out for awhile but nothing sustained. The girls were a little scared to go
to bed, "Why are the windows making that noise?" but all in all could've
been a LOT worse.

Good thoughts to everyone still in the storm's path and who've been
affected by it.

A good deal of power outages around me, but I've yet to get a good
idea of how extensive the damages around me was. Power still on
here and will survey the property as things get lighter.

Power still out (17 hours), one tree down, and I'm getting my girls ready for school......oh Sandy.

Storm has passed here (seemingly). No damage. Some high winds last night were the worst of it, rain was never very heavy.

power still out here, but with light now was able to go out and look around. Nothing worse than a few small branches down around the house.

Knock on wood, we didn't lose power this time around, although my in-laws (about 1/4 mile away) and my next door neighbor (closer to the main road) did lose power.
