A great shocking intro into The Demon's bizarre world. I think in these examples, Kirby's double-pagers are amazing for all the information they are relating about the world, and the story, as Kirby envisions it. Not all of the double-pagers are necessary, but some are essential.

Yes.  Kubert did the layouts for all the Redondo Studio's Ragman issues, as well as all the Redondo Studio, Rudy Florese, and Franc Reyes issues of Tarzan.
