Here is one from Barry Kitson. This one is slightly different because it is used as the story ender, not as something to get the story started or moving. I don't have the best memory for these things but I don't recall many double page splashes used to end a comic story. I need to ask him why it was done this way.

I don't know that this counts, but in the back of the wonderful Pocket Books Hulk book was this Trimpe piece, which I think is still brilliant after all these years. I was mesmerized by this thing as an pre-teen.

Where is that Boy Commandos/Blackhawk piece from?

Did Kubert do the layout for the Ragman page by the Redondo studio? The Ragman in the center has "Kubert eyes"
