I used to love finding shapes in the textured ceiling over my bed when I was a kid, but I could never find them again the next day.  I colored a couple in with crayons, but my mom put a stop to that pretty quick.

I used to have a hardwood door separating my bedroom
from the kitchen.  At night, with the door slightly ajar to allow
light to slip in, I would find myself staring at Smokey the Bear
and other assorted things that would show up in that magical
old door.

On my old apartment I used to throw water on the shower box and see all kinds of amazing shapes on the glass surface which kept me for a long time trying to think of a way to transfer it to paper.

I miss my old shower box.

"At least it's not the face of Jesus!

I wonder what it looks like if you step, say, four feet to the left?"

-----

That's where it looks like Jesus.
