Glad the meeting went well.  Meeting George is always a pleasure and his lack of cynicism toward the business of comics is refreshing.

Really, everything about George Perez is refreshing.

The next person after me showed up and picked up three-of-his-seven New Teen Titans pre-convention commissions and they were INCREDIBLE!
I am praying that George puts them on his site.

I guess I know where my next couple paychecks are going!

I actually didn't make the con Dave(I'm in New York but still couldn't was unable to attend). However, the Titans pieces are indeed mine. A friend of mine picked them up for me, and they do indeed rock

I dont have scans of the pieces yet(don't even have them in hand yet). All I have are some iPhone pics. I'm sure GP will post all seven soon!  They are really something. Kid Flash and Nightwing are insane(but then those two have always been favorites of mine)

What a cool experience!  And the proceeds go to Hero Initiative, which makes it even better.  Congrats, Caleb!

And I think you made the right decision in asking for an illustration of your own character.  I would imagine that makes it even more special.

George is one of the kindest men in the business. And who is still truely in love with his job. I also did the 10 minutes with George on thursday. It  always amazes me how he is able to give each character's headshot a distinct look. In all the time I have been interacting with George at shows he has never fallen into the rut of just using stock faces. I did the Vigilante for my choice.
