I played a lot more with stuff like this - •• Bit like asking a golfer about his favorite driver, and he shows you a picture of his chauffeur.

Before Star Wars I loved the Micronauts and some Revolutionary War soldiers I probably bought around the time of the bicentenial. After I saw Star Wars..that's all that mattered!! The Death Star playset was my favorite. It eventually got destroyed due to being put together, taken apart, tripped over, etc. Toys were replaced by D&D stuff and Atari games once I was in Jr, High. I wish now I kept collecting the Star Wars stuff through the whole trilogy. Some of my Empire toys are still in good shape because I was older when I got them.

No $#!7, Neil. I made it through the RAIDERS game one time, wasn't sure how, and was never able to repeat it.

Before Star Wars came out and dominated my toy buying choices for the rest of my childhood, my favorites were the Mego figures and these guys, the Shogun Warriors. I was lucky enough to have four of the five, except for the second one on the right:

Never got any better than the 3 3/4" Joes for me! So much so that they stopped my Star Wars collection dead in it's tracks!
Yoooo Jooooe!!!

Star Wars toys. I had pretty much every figure & playset from Star Wars & Empire Strikes Back. Especially liked all the HOTH related playsets & figures. Those figures & a fresh snowfall made for some long cold days of fun

I played with this for hours at a time when I was a kid.

Played with lots of these, too, but I was over them by the time the Teen Titans figures came along.

My MEGO THING "action figure" was a constant companion when I was 6/7. Like I said in another thread, I also liked this bunch quite a lot: Big Jim was the man in my eyes back then.
