And that was it.  I drew my last pictures in 10th grade, until this Wolverine I drew for my friend Scott when I was in the Army, circa 1990-91, after McFarlane.  I was 20 years old.  I am now 36.  81 Bravo was his MOS, or military job, but I forget which job that was.  I was stationed in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO at the time, and it was COLD!

In return, he drew this for me, and gave me a little art lesson, as I drew everything as I saw it, instead of building it up as I went along.  Do you see a little Byrne here?  Anyone?

Not a bad way to spend the time as we got ready to go to Kuwait back in 1991.  There were 3 comic book guys in that unit.  I got lucky, though, and ended up in Korea instead of the Dessert, with plenty of comics at the PX...

and plenty of beer ;-)
