Thanks for the comments folks.  Lovely pic Vlad, great composition and really love the contrast between the black and white.

John Staton, as you know I am a big fan of your work, unique.

Andy, cool Wonder Women pencils, look forward to seeing the finished version.

Marcus, thanks, I actually inked them with the PItt brush and fine pens not sharpies, my mistake. I don't even have any sharpies, what was I thinking.

Marc, I will try a Wonder Woman and Batman.

Gerry, Those colours are absolutely fantastic and totally unexpected.  To be honest, I was a bit embarrassed posting these because I am truly a novice when it comes to inking.  These were drawings that I didn't particularly like so I felt safe practicing over them.  If I thought they had any merit I would have erased the pencil lines. Seeing your colours allows me to see them in a different light though and is enough to encourage me to persist.

You are right about the Garcia influence.  When I think of Superman I see  a cross between JB and Lopez.  I think the prominence of the Garcia influence in this is due to a mistake I made with the cheekbone, it was the first line I put down and I cut in deeper than I meant to giving the face a narrower and more elongated look.  Speaking of which, does anybody know what to use to whiteout mistakes with Pitt pens as I have nothing.  Can't get over that colouring, wow. Thanks again.

A quick tip of the hat to Darren Taylor.  Not to in any way compare myself to him but the more I look at that Captain America the more I am reminded of an amazing Cap pic he did some time ago. So, albeit subconciously, Darren has become an influence.  Apologies and respect Darren.
