Well, Luke has alot to do with it.
When i ink i do what Kevin Knowlan does, i redraw it and try to
keep the essence of the penciler, people hate me (Cesar?) for
it but i figure if i can make the piece better, why not?

Yep - I totally agree with you on that one. I started doing the buildings with a tech pen that was a little too thick. I then had "tunnel vision" while doing them, when I should have stepped back more and taken a look. I had some feeling that something was off about them when I finally did step back, and that's what it is.
Still, I probably learned more doing that page then I have on any of the others I've done!
Thanks for the input, everyone...

wow...i totally didn't see luke in there at all, but i recognize that piece now
that you've shown the original.
i thought it look different, you normally do a different style of batman, but i
thought it was just due to either an effect you were going for or a conscious
change of style decision.
luke's original has his obvious love of romita jr (which isn't bad, please don't
take it as such)front and center, and yours has a more byrne/davis inspired
air.
stuff like this is fascinating to me...seeing the 2 styles merge and something
new pop out is what keeps me coming back for more.
