If any inkers are interested we're doing a jam piece here:

http://cole-dawg.deviantart.com/journal/9009594/

We're using a JB piece (my suggestion) from BOTD and seeing what everyone comes up with for the inks.  To me - a no brainer to use JB's pencils.  And I've wanted to do something by JB for some time now.

So, come join us if you all want.  The bad news is that you'll have to start a DeviantArt account.  The good news is that it's free.

Greg:

Your Cyclops has a very Paul Smith feel. I liked it!

Great work everyone. I'd like to post for my return to the forums after being unable to get internet access for the past few days some sequential art my son had been doing.

For those interested in knowing he did these in two days. I am blown away i had no idea he was doing this. I'm in awe of his skill. Look at the angles he choose on some of the panels. I can only imagine just how good he'll be when he reach's my age.

AJ...you have budding talent there! Your son is a chip off the old block...or so to speak! Great premiere! Welcome to the Sketchbook thread...Brendan, if I read the name correctly! Let's see you outdo your dad, boyo!

And, AJ, your stuff...BLUSH!  Talk about differences in innocence...ahem! Great as always, Mr. Lombardi!

I agree with you regarding your son, Anthony as I said before I've taught kids not just drawing but doing stories just like that and it isn't easy! His layouts are way ahead of his time!  Also, he is on the right track. Drawing stories is how to become a comic artist not just pin-ups. Oh by the way, Dad's work is pretty cool too!

A 5 or so minute sketch I did while talking to my Dad:
