Thanks George, Mary and everybody else. Hellrazor is a wild character but not my own. HR is a Savage Dragon villian. Anyway I kept looking at the pose and thought it looked familiar...

Anthony love the sketch.

George: I do these in acrylics. That particular one is on canvas.

Here's the latest box:

Hopefully this isn't busting up board protocol.. I really liked Anthony's
Magneto. And, it seemed like an interesting drawing to practice inking on.
I've never really inked someone else's work before. So, I t hought I would
pick this drawing since Anthony draws a lot diffferently than I do.
"Inked" in photoshop by the by...
Anyway, it was fine. I hope you don't mind Anthony!

First let me say Daniel Great job. Feel free to ink anything else you like. It's very abstract. A loose flowing feel to it and such movement.

Rich absolutely PRICELESS I love it.

Great Magneto, Anthony! I like the cross hatching- that's an art in itself to try to master, and you do it well!

John, very accurate Thor costume detail! Even Kirby had trouble keeping up with the detailing, his truly genius output was so voluminous (and hi-quality) every month, that production hands needed to make sure that, for example, Thor had all the belt, boot and chestplate detailing. The old Marvel production staff were to thank for that.

Bill, nice acrylics work. Did you do the package design as well?

Daniel, I believe its OK to post whatever artwork medium here, someone correct me if I'm wrong, since I haven't seen a "What's in your inkbook", or "What's on your color book" forum section. I think we just all jam it here. Any comments?

("That guy GE, he posts anything but sketches!") LOL

Daniel, Post everything and anything. If you look at some of the earlier pages of this thread you'll find some digital work i've done that at no point was ever on any paper of any kind.

Thanks for the compliment George. Everytime i see  something new you post i'm in complete awe of it. I find it so well designed and it has such a polished edge to it. I'm curious thou. I see obviously a huge Kirby influnece in your work. Is that your normal style or are you just going for that look on these particular pieces. If So i'd love to see what your work would look like if you decided to give it a different look.

I have a really weird style developing lately.  My Sandman looks more like Captain Wood grain, but what I want to point out is that I'm now adding this really bold outline to my figures.  Kirby's early Thor stuff had this effect and I wanted to play with it.  Now I can't stop using it.
