Thanks, Chris.  Did it during a staff meeting at work with ballpoint pen.  Approximate doodle time: 15 min.

Marc- Nice figure and I like your cross-hatching.

Greg- Really great pencil work! I would only ink it on a overlay to save the pencils.

Here is one of my favorite pieces; an unpublished cover, in which I laid out half the story. Cap Courage stories are eight pages. It's not Alpha Flight but...

Thanks, Chris! It is just nice to be able to show this stuff to other people. Let me know if you want me to post any of these stories, I have a few finished.

well, if you are not too much in a hurry, I can give a shot at coloring the invisible story. But I have quite a lot of things on my hands at the right moments, so as I say, if you are not in hurry.

Greg Reeves - wow dude!  very nice pencil linework there.

Daniel - i miss that online sketchbook thing.  thanks for bringing it up again and nice job.

Marc Baptiste - holy shoot dude!  I was going to guess an hour and a half for that!  What great rendering with the ballpoint.  nice job.

Marcus - i've been really admiring your stuff lately.  it has a 50/60's feel to it.  I hope that doesn't come across as an insult because i've got tons of respect and admeration for the old school stuff.  Your stuff is right up there with it.  simple, clean, and FUN to look at.

Thanks, Matt! No insult, I'm very comfortable with a 55/60's feel to my work. In fact that is the point of the Captain Courage work, fun comics!

OK. This is, finally, the image I did last year for the calendar project. Ladies
and Gentlemen: February, starring the Fantastic Four and Fin Fang Foom!

(for the first time, I regret the 600pixel cap)
