Thank you Darren. I used a Hulk comic to help me with some of the body work and Dev Madan's Frankenstein work to help form the character a bit better, but the rest is me lol.

Chris- that's a clearer picture- much better. Y'know,i think I've seen a few pics of the Frankenstein detective comic book. What I do see in your work is going for tight pencils to get definition. I like Frankie's face - lots of detail there. I'm sure even the toughest thugs would move aside seeing your Frankenstein walking in the street! I want to encourage you to keep up the good work. Always keep practicing.

Mary- Thanks for your question. Forgive me; I've never properly introduced my work to the group. This is my description found on the main website at  www.battleworlds.com:

BattleWorlds is a superhero sci-fi universe created by George Edwards in the early 1990's. The saga began with the comic books BattleWorlds: Secret Origins and BattleWorlds: FutureWar , which was available online in 2002. BattleWorlds is developing partnerships to have a growing collection of licensed books, comics, video games, movies, animation, soundtrack, television series, toys, etc.

BattleWorlds is a three-part epic saga:

Part I: FutureWar

Part II: AmazonWar

Part III: WorldWar

As a prime example of the superhero / space opera genre, the BattleWorlds story also evokes archetypal motifs common to superhero, science fiction and classical mythology. George is the BattleWorlds writer/artist, creator and developer. The aim is to portray the essence of archetypal superheroes, woman warriors, future tech heroes, as well as anti-heroes. It's a genre-merging epic, mixing superheroes with sci-fi, action, fantasy, aliens and WWII.

The three main heroes in this sage are Mega: Earth's Greatest Hero , Sol: Amazon Warrior and Night: Protector/Vigilante .

Whew! Hope that answers your question!

New BattleWorlds post!

Night Vigilante! And thanks for your compliments, guys, very kind of you. GE

George, that rocks!!

Mary- Thanks! I've been reading a comic strip about Frankenstein as a detective by Keith Champagne and art by Dev Madan, the first 7 pages are on Keiths blog, as the comic isn't published yet. It's cool if ya wanna look. www.keithchampagne.blogspot.com :)

Chris Yeoman - "Matthew TC- Those inks make me want to cry, excellent job."
~~~~~
Is that because they're that bad?!?!
Thanks Chris.  Go to my website link and I've linked to the wonderful pencils of Darren there, so you can see them before I took the butcher knife to them...
The pencils are of course perfection, but dude, you really complimented them with your inks, one day when you're not so busy, I will beg you to ink something I do lol.
Hey, tonight I tried something that my art teacher suggested once-to draw something while you are listening to music and try and capture the mood or the "feel" of the song, here's what just happend lol: I was listening to one of my favorite bands- Bright Eyes, I know the photo's dark, but it needs to be. Weird huh!?
