Great work everyone! I'm fairly new to the forum, but from these last few weeks, I'm seeing progress. Everyone is stepping up from their last illustration!!!

Mary, Good Nightcrawler work. From the panels what I've seen so far, it looks like you are crafting a story. The poses are good, so now try working at muscle development.

Marc, nice JLA splash. The only weakest part in this piece is the background. If you want a city, such as Metropolis or Gotham, then really do a city. Get an invaluable resource-- photo reference. Believe it or not, a cool cityscape with dynamic perspective and detail will let your characters look better. Look at Jim Lee's awesome cityscapes.

Chris, Supergirl- great casual pose.. For Kara’s proportions, you might want to give her a slimmer waist to accentuate her sillo. I like the color version.

Good pose of the girl in boots.

Andrew, is that Iron Man drawing an original from you? If it is, congrats, nice poses!

Greg- I like the twins drawing!

Wallace, I like the graphic design quality of your illo.

Bill, keep those great Buckaroo illos coming. I like the pulp adventure angle.

John, nice Mary Marvel!

Anthony L- great seductive shot. You put some great details like the doll, and other elements.

Marcus- Nova!!! Nice shot of him blasting off. Good pose and spotting. Decent inks. My only view, (and please take this as constructive, ok?) is to find a way to make the lines more than just perspective lines. This piece reminds me of Simonson. If you ever look at the great Walt Simonson’s speed and burst lines, this guy is fantastic at it. He has streak lines of varying weight, accompanied by initial and current flares, and he adds some uneven flare streams. That's what I would do to enhance your piece. Hope it helps.

Vladimir- excellent brush ink work. The two of you are a good combo- now somebody color this!! This is a really nice work!

New BattleWorlds post!

Night vs. Scorpion Aliens, and

Blitz- Scorpion Alien Armor turnaround (My Kirby tribute design- Long Live KING KIRBY!!!!)

Let's keep it up! Keep drawing, keep learning! And thanks to all for your generous comments. GE

Here's the larger Blitz GIF

Wow there are just some real talented folk on this site. Been lurking on it
for awhile, and the number of pages to this thread is nothing short of
astounding!

Can I play? Graphic designer here, and sometimes get to work on
illustrations. Working on some rough rough sketches for a superhero for
a client here. Also attaching some final designs I did for the big power
company out here. Hokey fun...a bit amateurish, but I love it!

Holy Moley.  That's some great stuff from everone on this page.

Here's something I drew for my sister the other day when I was at the Gem City Comic Con. I've promised doing her a Batman drawing for many years, but always run out of time.

Enjoy,

Justin Wasson

Excellent work guys!

I'm not sure if you're aware of www.comicbloc.com but A LOT of professional writers and artists "hang out" there. There is a cool crit forum where a lot of people post their work and fan art, there are also fun contests there, a subject is chosen by the winner (most votes) and then everyone submits entries and so on...feel free to post your work there because I know a lot of people would love to see your talents.

Please keep posting here though because this thread is special! :D

Hey all...I haven't contributed anything to this thread in quite some time, but I promised a couple of people I would post up some recent drawings when they were done...so here they are.  ;)

These are some character designs for a possible publishing or licensing project.  Can't share names or details yet.  Concepts, designs, pencils and inks by your's truly.
