Didier,

Imitation as a form of flattery. I'm sure BT would be proud that you emulate his style.

Marc- Very nice Space Ghost! I can see you spent sone time on this one.

Thank you George. I really like the way Bruce Timm has simplified the anatomy to the strict necessities. His characters are so.... but his pin-ups girls are even more niiiiiiiiiiice !

Ok, I have got to the point where I am really tired of using photo and magazine reference to aid my drawings, so I have commited myself to just draw from real life and my limited imagination for awhile to try and improve myself, so just to warn you...be prepared for some BAD drawings! lol. Here's the first one...no laughing.

I think that this is pretty dang doo Chris... It has a more natural feel than the
phot reference pieces. I like the chunky lines., too. His legs are pretty killer.

Chris...I loooove the colors! I am still insisting on hibernating in my pencils though, at least till I can fetch a lightbox! And I have to play with that scanner some! I am thinking if I add an extra sheet or too behind the image I won't get the light bleed through I seem to be getting when it scans the image. A lexmark 3350 series. Not the world's most expensive one, but...

Thanks Mary! I really need a scanner myself because something always gets lost in the photos. I too really love pencil work. My stuff is always better looking in pencils, far more detail is included, but recently I've been trying to get better with markers and paints, so far it's going okay, now I need to work on my BRAIN POWER to page. lol.

Yes, sometimes an extra sheet or even two of heavy, non-glossy paper behind it helps out, though I generally don't have problems with light bleeding through anyway. (Cheapo Artec scanner gives me plenty of other problems though.)
