Daniel-- way to go! Keep it up. You really convey the idea that 'ol Shell-Head is in a tough bind. Magneto is one of Marvel's toughest villains.

Marcus- Nice Beast. One of his many acrobatics. I always like how Hank is playful yet intelligent, as a crazy example, balancing on top of a soccer ball, crouched down wearing his spectacles while reading War and Peace. Your pose is typical Beast- congrats.

Mary- Swashbucklin' Nightcrawler! I think there was a 4 issue mini series featuring Kurt in a Pirate-swashbuckler adventure. Dynamic shot- congrats. As for inking, I would recommend a great paperback by ace veteran inker Klaus Janson called The DC Comics Guide to Inking Comics. You'll learn his tips-n-tricks in no time; just gotta practice practice, but at least you'll know you're in the right direction with Klaus' great teachings. I sat in one of his SVA (Marcus!) classes-good stuff. You can't go wrong with his paperback.

Thanks, George. I was thinking about the George Perez Beast from the Avengers. That's a good book to get for inking. I also like Gary Martin's The Art of Comic Book Inking if just for different inkers' styles shown. Good job, Mary, you have a touch that is hard to master.

Thanks, Marcus!! Now do you see why inks scare me? The pencils take on flavor for me, and then the black goes bold, and the pencils lose their soft, and everything crumbles under the weight of black lines!!

George: I have that Nightcrawler series! Dave Cockrum wrote it and drew it! I devour it at least several times a month just for the heck of it!

I like your space ghost! I liked the Funtastic world of Hanna Barbera.
Cool Beast Marcus... Maybe everyone should take a crack at him?
Maybe we should draw the other blue mutant, mr. fuzzy elf himself? Mary
has started us off!

Well, following my recent post, here is another Aurora. ( Yeah, I really like that character a lot ! ).

But before someone start to insult me by saying I am just doing my illustration "a la Liefeld", I would like to say" yes, it is a total rip-off of one of the Vampirella pose made by Bruce Timm and posted on one of his galleries".

( I can even provide you with the link if you are interested !). I just wanted to know what will be the result of Aurora if he had done a drawing about her.

And on top of that, I have a hard time, because I really like what I have made (see, I feel nice because I like the result, but ashamed because it is a rip-off ! )

So, please don't throw me rocks, OK ?

I will post the color version when done ! But if someone want to ink, please you are more than welcome. Thank you !
