AJL - very dymanic!

Chris - Thanks for asking.  My daughter played like a "monster" toward the end of the tournament.  I always tell her to let the other team know you were there, and she sure did!!.  Some of the pushes and tackles were -boarderline- but the ref didn't call them.  Actually, the ref didn't call much of anything, but that's when kids start getting hurt...

Anyway, they played 4 games in total. Saturday: 1.) 0-0, 2.) 0-0, and Sunday: 3.)0-1 (lost), 4. 0-0.  Because it was a tournament, they came in last because you get points for goals scored, etc.  They were better than the teams they played, but they just didn't -dig down- inside themselves to get the "W" when it was needed.

Ah well...  Always next Saturday...

As for The Grifter.  The lovely and talented
Justin Wasson did the pencils (one of the first collaborations between the two of us).  I laid in the inks and colors.  Just not real well...

Thanks for the kind words everybody! Hey, George I just checked out your website and noticed you went to SVA. So did I and I graduated in 1988 with a Media Arts degree! I majored in cartooning. Small world....(Great site and creations!)

"Darren - LOL! Thanks for the observation- design was unintentional to any out there wondering. FYI. Hmm, maybe I can redesign it. See? That's why it's good to show-and-tell. I'll keep you guys posted."-George

Only redesign it if you feel there -is- an actual need buddy.

"Darren- Nice post from March 19. Reminds me of Adam Hughes and the Dodsons. Good work, keep it up!"-George
